Bible Verses: 2 Chronicles 14

Big question: How did Asa have confidence that God would fight for him? How can we have confidence that God is on our side?

Asa had confidence because he removed that which was evil and a distraction from God.

Asa had confidence that God was with him because he led other people towards God.

Asa had confidence because he recognized who blessings actually come from.

Asa had confidence because he knows God’s character (that God helps the weak).

Asa had confidence because he relies on God, not himself.

Asa had confidence because he is working in God’s name!

In other words: God wasn’t on his side, he was on God’s side.

THE MAIN THING! Asa had confidence in God because he was doing what God was doing!

God fights for us, when we are fighting where he wants us.

If I LINE MYSELF UP WITH GOD, I will HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT GOD IS WITH ME no matter what situation I find myself in!
