Fix it On Your Own, Or Let God Win?

Fix it On Your Own, Or Let God Win?

Categories:

King Asa was attacked by King Baasha. Baasha had a fortified position and had blockaded Asa’s country.

Before when Asa was facing an impossible situation he obeyed God and called on Him for help!

This time, Asa worked out his own solution. He even stole from God to accomplish his own purposes.

King Asa won – big time.
When we resolve a problem without God, or move forward without obeying God, we actually weaken our position – even if it doesn’t feel like it at the moment!

King Asa ends up being at war until the day he dies, because he did not trust the Lord, and tried to take care ofbusiness himself.

God wants to be strong on my behalf. His eyes are scanning the Earth, looking for people he can support (2 Chronicles 16:9)!

God knows exactly what  you needs. Don’t worry, I should have faith that he’ll give me what I need when I do things his way!
