In “Who is This Guy!?”, a sermon in our Mark series, Pastor Jeff Piepho explores what made Jesus fully man and fully God, comparing Psalm 107 where God calmed the seas and Mark 4:35-31 where Jesus calmed the seas.
Jeff reminds us that Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego knew that, EVEN IF God didn’t save them from the fiery furnace, He was still their Lord. This ties into the promise of Romans 8:28 that says, “…in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” We must remember that, no matter what, in the middle of the storm, Jesus is in control.
Out of all the places that I figured I would eventually belong, a church would have definitely been at the bottom of that list. The people here are amazing and make life fun. I honestly couldn't see myself belonging anywhere else.
