What if your biggest failure could become part of God's redemption story?
In the sermon "Redemption from Over-Confidence," we look at Psalm 130 and Peter's failure in Mark 14. Peter was sure he would never fall away from Jesus. But when the pressure came, he failed.
Psalm 130 shows us where to go when we are broken. We cry out to God for mercy because with Him there is forgiveness. No sin is too great for God's grace.
But God does more than forgive. He redeems. He restores what sin has damaged and gives hope where we see only regret. He can take the years lost to mistakes and use them for His purposes.
This message challenges us to stop believing that our situation is hopeless. Instead of looking for answers everywhere else, we can wait on the Lord and trust His promises.
Will you keep focusing on your failures, or trust God to redeem your future?
Out of all the places that I figured I would eventually belong, a church would have definitely been at the bottom of that list. The people here are amazing and make life fun. I honestly couldn't see myself belonging anywhere else.
