Avoiding False Teachers

Can someone look spiritual on the outside but be completely wrong on the inside? In this sermon, Jeff teaches from Mark 12:18–27 and shows how Jesus responds to the Sadducees. They were powerful and respected leaders, but they rejected the truth about the resurrection and misunderstood God’s Word. Jesus makes it clear that they did not know the Scriptures or the power of God. This warning still matters today. If we don’t know the Bible or trust God’s power, we can be misled by confident voices that sound right but are wrong. This message will help you see why truth matters more than popularity or influence. You’ll learn how to stay grounded by reading the Bible, obeying God, and focusing on eternal life instead of just this world. Take a step to grow in truth, so you don’t get pulled in the wrong direction.
