Who do you really believe Jesus is?
In the sermon "Jesus Tells us Who He Is," we look at Mark 12:35–37 and see Jesus ask a powerful question that reveals His true identity. He is not just a teacher. He is the Messiah, God on earth, and worthy of worship and honor.
Jesus points back to Scripture to show that the Messiah is greater than King David. He has all authority and power. This means we don’t get to define who Jesus is—He tells us.
The crowd loved hearing Jesus teach, but days later they turned against Him. That raises a serious question for us. Do we honor Jesus only in public, or also in private?
This message will challenge you to look at your life and ask if Jesus is truly first. He leads and invites, but He won’t force you.
Will you respond by trusting Him, obeying Him, and honoring Him as Lord?
