CloseDo you ever feel like you're missing something spiritually—but can’t put your finger on it? In the sermon You’ll Never See God Until You Do This from the Mark series, Jeff Piepho unpacks Mark 8:11-21 to reveal a sobering truth: spiritual blindness affects all of us. The Pharisees were willfully blind, ignoring the clear signs of Jesus as the Messiah. Even Jesus’ own disciples struggled with fixable blindness caused by hardened hearts. Drawing from passages like John 1 and Romans 1, we learn that blindness can be our default, something we choose, or a result of loving darkness more than light. But there is hope—Jesus can open our eyes. This message challenges us to surround ourselves with other believers, seek the Holy Spirit’s help, and stay engaged in spiritual growth. Until we do, we’ll never truly see God.
